Ruby red in colour. The bouquet hints at strawberry, red summer fruit, floral notes, cherry cola and sweet charred oak. The delicate palate presents an air of etherality with offerings of sweet tea, strawberry shortcake, beetroot, mocha and herbaceousness. This Pinot Noir from our alluvial river flats is the Estate’s most delicate, thus is remarkedly approachable now or will benefit careful cellaring up to ten years+. Enjoy with a beetroot and walnut salad.
Hand-picked, wild-fermented with 25% whole bunches, hand-plunged, matured for 9 months in French oak (60% new). Clear crimson; An altogether more savoury bouquet and palate, the oak and whole bunch coming through the red berry/pomegranate fruit, the palate mouthfilling and complete. Made by Scott Ireland.
