The 60 hectare vineyard of Branaire Ducru is planted to Cabernet-Sauvignon (65%), Merlot (28%), Cabernet Franc (4%) and 3% Petit Verdot.
This is very clear and precise, with blackberry and licorice and hints of toasted oak. Full bodied, with super refined tannins and a pretty finish. It’s there. This is very classy and elegant. Tight and refined. Polished. 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 23.5% Merlot. 2.5% Cabernet Franc and 4% Petit Verdot.

A layered young red with lots of black olives and berries on the nose. Full body, with velvety and chewy tannins. It all comes together at the end with a lovely sweet fruit. Try after 2017.
