Shiraz from across the valley was vinified separately and remained so until the final wine was assembled. Maturation in a selection of seasoned French oak hogsheads for fifteen months provides a softness and elegance to the plush velvety palate. The wine was bottled both un-fined and unfiltered to enhance mouthfeel and complexity.
Dark red with deep purple hues. Dark red fruits, plum and cherry with sweet spice, leather and licorice.
The aromas carry through to the palate, where they are wrapped in plush, velvety tannins. Measured use of oak is well integrated providing structure and poise to what is a very moreish wine.
