2017 Juniper Cornerstone Karridale Cabernet Sauvignon, Margaret River

Deep red in colour. The nose is vibrant & aromatic, suggestive of blue & red fruits, with hints of bay leaf, vanilla, spice & cedar. The palate is medium-bodied, with lifted & expressive Cabernet fruit flavours, biscuity oak, smooth, refined tannins & tremendous length. Lamb cutlets with redcurrant jelly would pair nicely. 

A deep, purplish cabernet at the rounder, more lush end of the spectrum. Aromas of dark plum, other black fruits, and even a hint of mango on the nose are smartly dressed in old oak. Smooth and seamless with perfectly integrated tannins, this is a beautifully balanced cabernet of real pedigree that grows and floods the mouth with sumptuous flavour, great length and lingering aftertaste.Drink: 2021–2026 12th March 2021
