Light straw, green hue and brilliant clarity. Kaffir lime, grapefruit, and a minerality shine through. White floral notes add intrigue. Wild fermentation lees add a bread dough nuance, whilst a charred bacon note adds further complexity. White peach fuzz and grapefruits spill immediately onto the palate. Lime and sherbert acidity provide focus and length. A concentrated palate is long and intense yet continually develops, whilst grapefruit pith phenolics add further complexity and structure. A great example of cold climate Macedon ranges Chardonnay. Drink now - 2028,
Bright mid-yellow colour with a herbal, pineapple, tropical aroma, some fresh herbs including basil. The palate is intense, medium-bodied, soft and round, gentle and ample, a very smart wine with a strong front-of-mouth impact but also good length.13 DEC 2020 Drink 2020–2029

Midhill, near Romsey, sitting at 450 metres above the level of the seaside. 20% new oak.
Ripe lime and grapefruit, grilled peach, clove and biscuit spices. It’s juicy, but firm and precise, ample flavour, lots of pleasing flinty bits, and a particularly impressive finish that’s long, tight and layered with spice and drizzled with sweet citrus fruits. Jolly good.
