Barringwood vineyard is located on a steep north facing slope overlooking the Don Valley in Tasmania's central North. Established in 1993 the vineyard rises to an elevation of 280m and has one of the longest growing seasons in Tasmania giving their wines delicacy, elegance and immense complexity as well as a distinct backbone of cool climate acidity.
Crafted from fruit grown on oldest vines, planted on the site of an old sawmill between 1993 & 1996. It is an outstanding example of the subtle complexity our ultra-cool site produces with delicate fruit characters, earthiness and a refined spiciness.
