Blend of estate and purchased fruit from 8–23yo vines; fermented in 3 portions, one in old oak, in which it was aged 4 months on lees. I love the contrast of gris' generosity and the tension of northern Tasmania, eloquently captured by the mild 2021 season. It upholds the mood of gris in its texture, spice and pear and stone-fruit flesh, yet tactically surfs the line of grigio in its elegant allure and lemon tang. Old oak has been skilfully deployed to build mouth feel without in any way diminishing purity or tension. Best yet.

Aromas of pear and white peach carry through to a textural and fruit-driven palate. A popular white wine, and a versatile accompaniment to an array of food styles.
