100% Nerello Mascalese from Rampante and Zottorinoto on the Northern slopes of Mount Etna, mostly bush trained (alberello) at 600-900 metres with a vine age between 40 and 80 years old. Following an 18 day maceration, the wine is aged in tonneaux, 20% new, for 14 months.
