James Halliday “Alan McCorkindale is a genius with Pinot Noir”
Hand sorted, gently crushed to a small vat, wold-yeast fermentation, hand plunged, extended maceration on skins, with minimal filtration and stabilisation, aged eighteen months in French oak barrels, hand labelled, with no compromise on quality.
Deep red colour. Aromas of raspberry, boysenberry and toasty oak. The palate is precise, rich, mouth filling with flavours of berry cocktail and dark chocolate, and an earthy complexity, fine tannins and linear acidity – powerful in a subtle way.
