A sophisticated trailblazing oak-matured sauvignon blanc, which retains tangy varietal character while adding subtle toast and ginger flavours from barrel maturation. A wonderful texture and a crisp, dry and lingering finish.

Intense, alluring and complex on the nose with all the bells and whistles. There's honeyed aromas of ripe apples, peach and nectarine with lashings of smoky, vanilla barrel influence. Rich, dry, very concentrated and plush with a stylish 'peaches and cream' texture and impressive length. The strong oak influence needs time to integrate fully but the fruit intensity suggests all is there and it bodes well for the future.
