From the Block 2 vineyard, planted 1975. Hand picked, whole-bunch pressed, some residual sugar (3g/L), left on ferment lees in tank until October. Like the Block 1, this has fierce intensity of flavour, except through the lens of this wine it has a more wild and untamed nature about it. Brilliant intensity, and definitely a clear expression of Mount Barker riesling. White pepper, clove and anise through the finish.

Bright pale straw with green hues. Lifted aromas of citrus zest, grapefruit, subtle yellow fruits, and wet stones. The palate is racy and textured from the extended contact on lees with serious intensity.
