A tough call, but credit to Mount Langi Ghiran that when a hail storm hit in '16, fruit destined for Mast and Langi was declassified. Both are back with a vengeance this vintage. Perfectly pitched and poised with just the right amount of red fruit, pepper, wood smoke and savouriness working across the medium-bodied palate. Tannins are ripe and detailed, the finish exceptional.
