This incredibly fragrant & elegant wine with great tension & incredible layers of red fruit , spice & earth. The aromas are both intriguing and complex: fresh berry, wild game, gun smoke, baking spice & wild thyme. The palate is long and bright with cherry, blackcurrant, cardamom and delicious savoury undertones. Silky fine tannins compliment the vibrant acidity, giving the wine length and memory. This wine is drinking beautifully at release and will continue to do so for at least a decade.

An extremely attractive, perfumed, heady wine with ripe, candied, cherry-fruit aromas, and notes of thyme, black pepper with plenty of expensive, creamy bacon rind/barrel, char oak in support. Medium-full-bodied with lots of red berry flavours, a nice crunchy texture, vibrant, salivating acidity and a taut, long, mineral finish. Youthful and will benefit with time in the bottle, but undeniably delicious now
