Bright, light yellow colour. Very complex bouquet with a strong component of smoky-charcuterie sulfides. There's toasty, nutty, oaky barrel-ferment characters as well and the wine is layered and engaging. Very stylish indeed. The palate is intense, compact and lingering. One of the finest Tumbarumba chardonnays around. A perfect balance of stone fruit, grapefruit, mouth-watering smoky flinty sulphides with just the right amount of palate-buffering creamy lees to offset the electrifying acidity. Superb drink.

Possessing the characteristic freshness, refinement and flint of the Tiger Tiger, the 2019 has a layer of opulence conferred by the warmer vintage. The wine is fresh on the nose with aromas of white flowers, grapefruit and flint. A changing and complex wine of depth and concentration that with time in the glass reveals lemon curd, brioche and spent matchsticks. The palate is focussed, mouth-filling and long. The wine will metamorphose and take on complexity with age.
