Hand-picked fruit from Northern Tasmania. 25% whole bunches; matured in French oak barriques for 8 months. Classic Tamar pinot. Blackberry and black cherry fruit with a savoury backdrop of beetroot. Nicely poised acidity finds harmony with well-composed fruit and oak tannins. Everything interlocks neatly on a long finish. Potential.

Dark red hue with hints of garnet. Ripe, red berry fruits and subtle spice dominate the bouquet. Full palate with vibrant cherry and raspberry flavours and silky, fine grain tannins. White pepper, savoury cinnamon spice and subtle oak are balanced by refreshing acidity leading to a long finish. Whilst approachable now, the richness of fruit and fine tannins will reward careful cellaring with a complex, spicy wine. Optimum cellaring now to 2025.
