2020 Lake Breeze Wines Section 54 Shiraz, Langhorne Creek

The estate vineyard is mainly on the flood plain, some younger plantings on higher sandy soils; smart machine-harvested for whole-berry fermentation; 2-day cold soak, 7-day fermentation; matured in French barriques (25% new) for 15 months. This is a wonderfully elegant wine with a profusion of red and black berry fruits sustained by its silky mouthfeel, fine tannins a constant thrumming on the finish and aftertaste.
