Wild ferment, matured for 8 months in French oak (50% new). Salted pineapple, rockmelon, guava and pawpaw on the nose. The nose suggests a big wine, but this is anything but. On the palate, it is surprisingly delicate, the flavours lingering through into the long finish. Really classy and fine.

Pale yellow with green hue. A fragrant bouquet of white flowers, nectarine and pear with underlying cashew and citrus notes. Lovely toasty oak florals help lift to white flower bouquet. The palate is medium-full bodied with stone fruit and fresh citrus flavours and creamy biscuit characters from lees influence. Subtle oak sweetness adds to the richness and length of the palate. The wine has an elegant, refined structure and finishes with fine mineral acidity.
