Overall it was an outstanding vintage for Tuerong. Consequently the wine is its typically ripe self but with an arresting vibrancy often missing in Pinots from Tuerong
David Chapman, winemaker
The Tuerong site is often known for it's generosity but in 21, a vintage that was long and cool the site has performed exceptionally well. Picked almost a month later than in the average year the resulting wine is packed full of generosity but still with an intense freshness that allowed for the fruit to spend more time developing complexity and structure.
