The Assemblage is a composite blend of vineyards from across the Mornington Peninsula and is matured in vast French oak barrels called Foudre. These beautiful barrels have very thick staves and wine matures slowly, ensuring that the delicate aromas and flavours are not lost. The resulting wine is vibrantly flavoured with silky, supple structure and ready to enjoy earlier without sacrificing intensity or character.
2021 is widely regarded as an excellent Pinot Noir vintage in this part of the world. The wine has piercing pure aromatics, a rich velvety mid palate and firm focused tannins. It delicious drinking now but even a few months in bottle will tame the remaining tannin and bring some further complexity.
Yields were again low and consequently there is less wine than last year, so snap some up while it lasts.
