Arneis is a white grape grown in the hills of Roero in Piedmont, northwest of Alba. Here it produces gastronomic, medium bodied wines that are invariably vinified without oak and typically show characters of juicy apple and peach fruit, hawthorn, white flowers and often a hint of almond too. This well-made example, new to Majestic's Italian line-up, is made by a small family winery basd in the village of La Morra. Fresh and yet juicy, you'll find an attractive weight of fruit in the mouth, and a rounded finish from ageing on lees in tank with occasional batonnage. Try this with seafood risotto, roast pork or even courgette fritters. Drinking Window 2022 - 2023

The Roero Arneis is a pleasant white wine, straw-colored with golden reflections. It has an extensive, fragrant bouquet, with hints of fresh fruit, acacia flowers and honey. The taste is dry, harmonious, with good body and flavor.
It is a superb accompaniment with hors d'oeuvres, with mild dishes such as plain risottos or asparagus risotto, gnocchi alla bava, or fish without sauce.
