Vineyards located in the Valpolicella hills in the north of Verona. The soil is alluvial and calcareous with clay.
45% Corvina, 30% Convinone, 15% Rondinella, 5% Molinara and 5% Dindarella. Aged 24 months in Slavonian Oak barrels, , 24 months in barriques, followed by aging in the bottle, Alc 16%.
Garnet red colour. Intense aroma of jam and raspberry, mullberry and plums in alcohol, spicy pepper, corriander annd cinnamon. Complex on the palate, harmonic with an incredible roundness and sweet tannins.
Excellent with a variety of meat dishes and mature spicy cheeses.
