The white 2019 Candea Blanco is the entry-level wine that wants to show the character of the region through a blend of Dona Branca, Verdello and Treixadura in equal parts. 2019 was a healthy vintage with good rain and good weather, not too warm. The different varieties fermented together with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel and were kept with fine lees (but without bâtonnage) for one year. It has only 12.5% alcohol and good freshness, from a year with low alcohol and very good pHs. This showcases the style of the year and the winery, sharp, austere and mineral whites, with a dusty sensation, earthy with wet granite sensations. A white without fruit.

Highly textural, mineral wine with a gravelly granitic mouth feel overlaid with apple florals and grapefruit zing. Aromatics and texturality are beautifully matched: pretty and direct jasmine, elderflower, granny smith, green citric zest, sherbety acidity, sandy minerals, a titch of lanolin creaminess and a delicate bitter herb crunch to finish.
