Matured in barrel for 10 months. Savoury, framed by toasted oak, and layered with preserved citrus, yellow peach and Pink Lady apples. There is a creamy, crushed-nut undercurrent to this which balances the taut acidity the and the firm oak, bringing all things into perspective and balance. Opulent and very smart.

Woodlands has two vineyards, located within 2km of each other in the Wilyabrup Valley. At both vineyards each variety is planted in its particular location due to the soil composition and plot aspect. All vines are dry grown and farmed using traditional and organic methods. Both vineyards are maintained by hand and attention includes under vine cultivating, hand weeding, cane pruning, bunch and crop thinning, leaf removal and hand picking. The Woodlands Vineyard is certified organic.
