This limited release, single vineyard wine has been crafted from 40yr old vines from the heart of the Derwent Valley. In a slight departure from our house style, it has been part fermented on new French oak with lees stirring. The result has produced a powerful, sweet fruit nose with a rich, round, textural palate... with just a subtle hint of oak. The finish is delicate, soft and dry. An elegant wine, it will superbly compliment seafood or lighter Asian dishes.
