100% Gamay from the oldest vines in the terroir ‘La tour du Bief’ of 3 hectares. The Clos consists of centuries old vines, Hand-picked and sorted before destemming 100% of the fruit, then cold soaked foe 3 weeks with some pumping over before fermenting with some initial punching down. Pumped over at the end of fermentation to give more roundness and finesse. 30% stainless steel aged, 70% oak aged for 21 months in 228L French oak barrels of medium toasting of which 40% was new oak.
