Originally planted in 1863, the wines from this vineyard stood the test of time when opened 100 years later to an ecstatic audience in Melbourne.
Pat Carmody resurrected the vineyard producing the first contemporary wine from this exact site in 1979. Forty years later this family owned vineyard still produces one of the finest cool climate Shirazs in Australia as listed on the Langton’s Classification of Australian Wine.
