The fruit from the Moppa vineyard was hand-picked on 26 February, fully destemmed and spent 19 days on skins before being basket pressed into used French oak. The fruit from the Eden Valley vineyard was picked on 1 March. 25% was whole bunch fermented spending 15 days on skins before being basket pressed into used French oak. All portions remained in oak until final blending in September 2017. 26% whole Bunch. Bottled on 29 September without fining or filtration. Tasting note: The nose has a white pepper lift over concentrated red and blue fruit. Medium Bodied and linear on the palate with mouth feel and fine tannins. White pepper spice combined bright red cherry and red plums.
