Louis Bouillot was founded in 1877 in Nuits-Saint-Georges, a little village nestled the heart of the Côte d’Orby Jean Bouillot. Jean, a wine and spirits merchant, was one of the few in his day to specialize in Crémant de Bourgogne. Louis Bouillot is still located in Nuits-Saint-Georges. With over 130 years of savoir-faire helping to guide us, we continue to specialize in Crémant de Bourgogne and have acquired international fame as Crémant de Bourgogne experts.
The blend of Perle d’Aurore is the pure expression of Louis Bouillot’s perfect knowledge of Burgundy terroirs: Pinot Noir comes from Côte d’Or, Gamay from the South of Burgundy and Chardonnay near Mâcon city.
Its yellow in colour with hints of green and gold show its fine bubbles in a lovely light. The nose opens on white blossom then citrus, before developing pleasant buttery and brioche notes. Full and rounded in the mouth, with a certain vivacity, and complex secondary aromas that evolve over time, delighting the taste buds. The harmony and elegance of Perle d'Ivoire makes a match for a wide variety of dishes, from the simplest to the most exotic.
