A fresher nose offers fruit that is more from the red side of the spectrum along with floral and earthy nuances. The relatively concentrated flavors possess better mid-palate stuffing as well as better depth and persistence on the firmly constituted finish that displays very little rusticity. This is an excellent Bourgogne and worth considering provided that it be cellared for at least a couple of years.
