Loamy clay over limestone, historically supplied by Leo Buring, once the maker of countless outstanding Rieslings. The fruit here is handpicked and whole bunch pressed before being fermented and raised in stainless tanks. Col halts the ferment with around 5 g/L residual sugar to balance the muscular acidity that this terroir delivers.
