This Chardonnay is quite a departure from TarraWarra usual Chardonnay. The perfumed aroma of citrus fruits with a hint of oak flows through the very fine and long palate, with higher acidity and a singular linearity to the palate.
There's tension and drive to this with its linear focus. An appealing pink grapefruit flavour, white stone fruit gets things rolling picking up ginger spice and the right amount of creamy-lees along the way. It has texture, finishing with fresh lemony acidity and overall, moreish and delicious.
