2017 was an excellent vintage in the Yarra Valley. A cooler season delayed ripening, picking was 3 weeks behind 2016. A mild autumn allowed lovely flavor development with good balance. Cool nights and mild days gave perfect ripening conditions, with the fruit in perfect condition at harvest

This hits the spot. Undeniably varietal with its blush of purple-red, cherry pips and just-ripe raspberries alongside newly made potpourri and plenty of warm spice. Medium-bodied with easy supple tannins and refreshing acidity. A beauty.
