2018 West Cape Howe Styx Gully Mount Barker Chardonnay, Great Southern

Bright, light gold; very pale straw. Quite peachy with ripe honeydew melon aromas, gorgeous creamy cashew nut characters with some very subtle tropical notes. A very subtle but beautifully flavoured Chardonnay that has the most wonderful palate; it is textural, well rounded and still delicate and its gentle acidity gives it good length of flavour. With its subtle melon fruit flavours and crème brulee characters, our 2018 Styx Gully is delightful drinking now and will continue to improve with further bottle age.
