Saturated ruby. Powerful spice and mineral-accented aromas of ripe dark berries and licorice slowly develop a hint of garrigue. Broad and sweet in the mouth, offering sappy blackberry and cherry flavours and a suggestion of spicecake. Smooths out on the plush finish, which features fine-grained tannins, echoes of floral pastilles and a jolt of peppery spices. Great vintage, great value. Drink 2018-2022.
