Bright violet color. Strongly perfumed aromas of blackberry, boysenberry, incense and smoky minerals. Seamless and sweet on the palate, offering energetic dark berry liqueur, licorice and cola flavors and a touch of star anise on the back half. Finishes broad and long, with building tannins and alluring sweetness. I like the blend of power and finesse here quite a bit.
