(started in 40% oak): Pale, green-tinged color; all of these wines are a bit hazy following their recent racking. A bit of grilled reduction to the fresh apricot aroma. Densely packed, concentrated and fresh, with a lightly saline quality adding another dimension to the flavors of fresh peach and pineapple. The yield here was just 25 hectoliters per hectare due to the hail, according to Didier Séguier, but I find no hail taste. Finishes firm-edged and persistent.
