George Lacombe, son of farmer, born in 1941, was raised in the cult of respect for the earth. As a teenager, his earthly roots took him to the Lot, near Cahors, where he started his first wine business.
In 1989, his daughter married a champenois oenologist, Francis Tribaut. It is then love at first sight for the Champenoise region.
Georges Lacombe acquires a small vineyard, which he gradually builds to reach 12 hectares.
In 2004, Francis Tribaut takes the reins of the and gives birth to Champagne Georges Lacombe... and the new adventure begins.
