Expressive bouquet: there's cassis and cedar, blackberry leaves and menthol plus plenty of oak influence while the more medium-weighted palate oscillates between sweet and sour fruit. There is a freshness though but everything shortened by drying tannins. One to watch in terms of ageing but err on the side of caution.
