The grapes are sourced from Bruno Rocca estate vineyards in Neive, Cru Curra’ and Cru Fausoni. The soils are limestone and blue marl, and the vines are of an average age of 50-60 years of age.
Deep bright garnet red. The bouquet is full and intense with scents of ripe fruits (plums, blackberries, cherries and red mulberry). As the wine is aired, notes of walnut, spice (pink pepper) and toasted almonds, are revealed. The palate is mouth-filling, warm, savoury and harmonious with a rounded delicate and elegant expression and great persistence.
