Maturation occured in a mixture of small and medium sized French oak barrels for 8 - 12 months. Bright ruby red with garnet reflections.The bouquet is full and intense with notes of red and black fruits (raspberry & black cherry) and a touch of spice.The palate is round and harmonious showing terrific poise, elegance and balance. The finish shows some fine grained nebbiolo tannins and linger well.
Lovely glass of Nebbiolo here offering perfume, red fruits, sage and spice. Medium-bodied, fresh and succulent, fine dusty grip of tannin, and a spicy strawberry finish of good length. Good now, but no hurry.
