100% Tinta del País, Grown in the Valdehermoso terroir, with vines aged from 10 to 18 years. No fertilizers nor chemical treatment, Fully Certified Organic, The fermentation process is very gentle without intensive extraction, in stainless steel vats, malolactic fermentaton in the tank...no enzymes or yeasts are used that do not originate naturally.
Aged for 14 months in 80% French 20% American Oak, (30% new), barrels in order to bring out the special merits of our own ‘Tinta del País’ grape variety.
Distinctive by its varietal characters, Valdehermos shows inense aromsa of well-ripened wild fruits, peppered with spicy aromas and subtle toasty touches that blend in well. Well rounded in the mouth, with smooth tannins well integrated with oak. A tasty, lingering non astringic finish makes you want to drink more. Alcohol 13.5%
