On a grey morning in July 1941, Reginald William Germein and John Crighton Edwards joined the Royal Australian Airforce. These men, Helen and John Edwards’ ancestors are the true founding fathers of The Lane Vineyard.

RG, a tribute wine to Helen’s father Reg, is taking Australian Chardonnay to new levels of excellence, comparable with Burgundy’s great wines and soaring above many of Australia’s ‘known’ champs. The exquisite fruit is pressed straight to barrel and left to ferment naturally, no chemistry or additives here, simply beautiful fruit from a great site, it really has the vineyard talking in every glass.
