Margaret River grown Chardonnay (70% Gingin Clone & 30% Clone 95)
Smoky flinty aromas from the wild ferment plus lemon, grapefruit, stone fruit, pear, roasted hazelnut and cashews along with freshly baked bread. While there is an element of restraint and poise the palate has wonderful fleshy stone fruit texture and flavour along with citrus, pear and roasted nuts with smooth mouth-watering acidity guiding the long finish.
Hand-picked, whole-bunch pressed, barrel-fermented, matured for 10 months before a best barrel selection. Complex, at once juicy and rich, the flavours largely in the stone fruit group, some grapefruit also plying its trade.
