Perfect depth and hue; vibrant, clear purple-crimson. MV6 clone planted in 1998 on a steep slope; hand-picked, whole bunch, wild yeast, pigeaged twice daily, then maceration on skins; 11 months in French oak (35% new) on lees and wild mlf. A luxuriantly rich pinot, with layers of intense black cherry and plum fruit, and immaculate tannin structure. Great wine, will be very long lived.
