Saint Clair Pioneer Block wines are made from outstanding small parcels of fruit identified by Saint Clair's winemakers from selected specialist vineyards sites reflecting the unique influence of terroir on various grape varieties.
Dark garnet core with a purple rim. Aromas of cedar, sandalwood, ripe raspberry, and licorice combined with dried wild flowers and dried clay. A full-bodied palate showing flavours of ripe red plum, sun ripened raspberry and blackberry. Round and fine cocoa like tannin structure with a focused acid backbone and long lingering finish.
