With its aroma of apple, pear and citrus, Falkenstein Pinot Blanc is characterized by a pronounced acidity and a striking freshness.
Pinot Blanc grape clusters are dense and of medium dimension. They are harvested in the second half of September. After they are harvested by hand, the Pinot Blanc grapes are also transferred to large acacia casks to commence fermentation, remaining for ten months to sediment.
After bottling, the Pinot Blanc is kept in store for a further six months, allowing it to mature and fully-develop its aromas.
