Qaramy Wines are situated in Tunuyan Mendoza where the vines grow in classic terroir of storri sub soil with a sandy surface at around 1100 metres above sea level.
The vines are now reaching nice maturity and plantings in the early 90’s are now bearing exceptional complex rich fruit. The wine spends 10 months in 50% new, 50% second use French oak.
Aromas of blackberries, plums pencil lead, and mocha dance out of the glass, and continue on the palate. The palate is rich and full and unique for its velvety smoothness, and for being extremely fruit-forward while not overextracted or over-oaky.
