Rob Dolan has been making wine in the Yarra Valley for over 20 years, and knows every nook and cranny there. In 2011 he was able to purchase the Hardys Yarra Burn winery at an enticing price. It is singularly well equipped, and in addition to making the excellent Rob Dolan wines there, he conducts an extensive contract winemaking business.
An instantly delightful and classy nose, loads of ripe red berries with a spicy oak-driven underbelly. Acidity is measured with a red cherry accent, oak-derived caramel and nougat on the mid-palate, rhubarb savoury finish. A lovely wine - loads of complexity and moving parts 06 FEB 2020
