The 7th vintage of Corduroy in one of the best in the region. Even daytime ripening temperatures and cool nights allowed perfect flavor development at low sugars with high natural acidities. A perfect framework for barrel fermenting chardonnay. The 2018 Corduroy reflects the quality vintage: even melon nectarine and roasted almond notes. Succulent fruit on the midpalate develops into layers of creamy mealy complexity and a hint of cashew oak. Finishing clean with tight natural acidity the 2018 Corduroy would be a great match for a mild butter chicken.

Still pale, bright straw-green. Everything has clicked into place, the boxes all ticked. It is an elegant display of varietal fruit outside the norm for Margaret River, Karridale in the very cool southern tip of the region.

A quietly complex Margaret River chardonnay, with mealy and smoky aromas woven through subtle nectarine-like fruit and a well-modulated thread of spicy oak. It's silky and seamless in the mouth, fresh and complete.
