A delicate perfumed nose, with raspberry, christmas cake and candied citrus peel. The palate showing plum fruit and red berries, with warm spice notes.
Will develop more complexity with bottle age. Benefits from a little time to open in bottle. Ready to drink NOW, or cellar for up to 5 years.
Spicy, red cherry notes, peppery lift, floral things too. Nice fragrance. Succulent and firm in the palate but with a lively, juicy core and moreish cherry and pomegranate characters jostling inside, though you’d call the wine ‘savoury’ all up. Light spice layer on ultra fine tannins too. This is a very good, tightly wound and fine boned pinot, executed so well.
